From Shanghai to Vietnam to the World

Jim Kennemer founded Cosmo Sourcing in Shanghai in 2012 while completing his MBA, initially helping friends and contacts find outdoor sports manufacturers in China. As demand grew, the company expanded beyond a single industry and rebranded from Hartford Outdoor Sports Supply to Cosmo Sourcing in 2013.

In 2014, Jim moved operations to Ho Chi Minh City, making Cosmo one of the first dedicated sourcing companies in Vietnam. Today the team sources products across Vietnam, Mexico, Thailand, Indonesia, China, and other manufacturing hubs for clients in over 40 countries.
