Top Lingerie Manufacturers in Vietnam: How to Find the Right Factory
Vietnam is one of the world's leading countries in lingerie manufacturing, with established expertise in delicate fabrics, complex construction techniques, and the certifications international brands require. If you are looking for a factory to produce bras, shapewear, bodysuits, or other intimate apparel, Vietnam should be near the top of your list. I've been running Cosmo Sourcing since 2012, and lingerie is one of the product categories we see growing fastest across our client base.
That said, finding the right lingerie manufacturer in Vietnam is harder than finding a general garment factory. Lingerie requires specialized equipment (seamless bonding machines, molding tools, lace-handling capabilities), stricter quality tolerances, and workers trained specifically in intimate apparel construction. Many of Vietnam's best lingerie factories do not show up in English-language online searches. I wrote this guide to share what we've learned from sourcing intimate apparel in this market.

Why Vietnam for Lingerie Manufacturing
Vietnam's garment and textile sector exports tens of billions of dollars annually, and intimate apparel is one of its fastest-growing segments. Major global lingerie brands, including Victoria's Secret, Wacoal, and Triumph, already manufacture in the country, creating a deep talent pool of workers trained specifically in bra construction, seamless bonding, and lace handling.
Several factors make Vietnam particularly well-suited for lingerie production. Labor costs remain competitive, though in my experience the real advantage is the skill level: Vietnamese factories have moved well beyond basic cut-and-sew into technically demanding product categories. The country's free trade agreements, including the CPTPP and the EU-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement (EVFTA), provide preferential tariff access to major markets across Europe, Asia-Pacific, Canada, and others. For brands sourcing from China looking to diversify, Vietnam is often the most practical alternative because the infrastructure and expertise already exist.
Vietnam also has a growing domestic supply chain for lingerie-specific materials like lace, elastic, underwire, and specialty knits. However, some components still need to be imported from China, South Korea, or Taiwan. The primary manufacturing hubs for intimate apparel are in southern Vietnam (Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong, Dong Nai) and central Vietnam (Khanh Hoa, Da Nang).
Types of Lingerie Made in Vietnam
Bras and Bralettes
This includes underwired bras, wireless bras, push-up bras, sports bras, nursing bras, and lightly constructed bralettes. Bra manufacturing is the most technically demanding category in lingerie, requiring specialized molding, cutting, and assembly equipment. Vietnam has multiple factories with decades of experience producing bras for global brands.
Panties and Underwear Sets
Briefs, bikinis, thongs, boyshorts, and coordinated lingerie sets. These are produced in high volume across Vietnam and are often the most accessible product category for newer brands, thanks to lower complexity and lower MOQs.
Shapewear and Bodysuits
Body shapers, high-waisted control briefs, waist cinchers, and full bodysuits. Shapewear requires precision in elastic tension and construction to perform correctly, and several Vietnamese manufacturers have invested in the specialized equipment this demands.
Sleepwear and Loungewear
Chemises, babydolls, robes, camisoles, and nightgowns in silk, satin, modal, and cotton blends. These products overlap with general garment manufacturing but are frequently produced by lingerie-focused factories as part of their broader intimate apparel offering.
Swimwear-Adjacent Intimates
Bustiers, corsets, garter belts, and teddies. These are more niche, but well within the capabilities of Vietnam's experienced lingerie manufacturers, particularly those serving the European and bridal markets.

Lingerie Manufacturers in Vietnam
The manufacturers below are among the most established lingerie producers in Vietnam. This is not a comprehensive directory, and I want to be upfront about that: many of the best-fit factories for your product will not appear in any English-language online list. This section demonstrates the depth of the country's certified, high-capacity lingerie manufacturing capability.
SCAVI JSC
SCAVI is a French capital lingerie manufacturer and exporter that has been operating in Vietnam since 1988. We've worked with SCAVI on client projects, and the scale of their operation is impressive: five factories in Vietnam and one in Laos, employing approximately 11,000 workers. They offer full-package ODM and OEM services covering product design, material development, technical fitting, sample making, bulk production, and logistics. Their specialization covers luxury lingerie, core underwear, nightwear, and sporty underwear. Certifications include SA8000, ISO 9001, WRAP, and OEKO-TEX Standard 100. SCAVI serves approximately 30 international brand customers and has reported annual growth rates of around 25%.
French Female Apparel Development
Established in 2001 in Khanh Hoa province, French Female Apparel Development (also known as French Lingerie Development Vietnam) is a dedicated lingerie manufacturer with a factory spanning over 24,000 square meters and more than 1,000 workers. Their product range includes sports bras, seamless bonded bras, push-up bras, panties, nightwear, swimwear, and beachwear. The company holds OEKO-TEX Standard 100 and BSCI certifications. Their capacity is approximately 4 million pieces per year, making them one of the larger lingerie-focused operations in central Vietnam.
Crystal Martin Vietnam
A subsidiary of Crystal International Group (Hong Kong), Crystal Martin Vietnam was established in 2012 in Bac Giang province. The company focuses on manufacturing women's intimate wear: bras, briefs, shapewear, foundation wear, and pajamas. They provide ODM and OEM services to major brands, including H&M, Uniqlo, Lindex, and Abercrombie & Fitch. Certifications include ISO 9000, ISO 14001, and OEKO-TEX Standard 100. Crystal Martin is a large-scale operation with a strong compliance infrastructure, making them best suited for established brands with significant order volumes.
Wacoal Vietnam
A subsidiary of Japan's Wacoal Corporation, Wacoal Vietnam has been manufacturing in the country since the late 1990s. The company specializes in women's undergarments for a broad age range, including daily-wear bras, maternity and nursing bras, shapewear, and bustiers. Wacoal Vietnam employs over 2,000 people and adheres to ISO 9001 standards. The company also operates its own retail chain in Vietnam. Wacoal is known for precision fit engineering and higher-end positioning, so their production standards reflect that emphasis on quality over volume.
Regina Miracle
Regina Miracle is a Hong Kong-headquartered intimate wear corporation with significant manufacturing operations in Vietnam, concentrated in VSIP Hai Phong and Hung Yen province. The company is known for innovation in functional bra products, including extra-thin bras, memory foam bras, and ergonomic support products. They operate R&D centers in both Hai Phong and Shenzhen. Regina Miracle serves major global intimate apparel brands and is one of the more technically advanced manufacturers in the Vietnamese lingerie space.
Quadrille Nishida Vietnam
A subsidiary of the Japanese lingerie corporation Quadrille Nishida (founded in 1968 in Kyoto), this Ho Chi Minh City-based manufacturer has been operating in Vietnam since 1996. They specialize in ODM and OEM production of ladies' lingerie, including bras, panties, briefs, shapewear, and swimsuits. Quadrille Nishida also produces bridal intimates designed specifically for wearing under wedding dresses, a niche product line. The company operates its own lingerie brands (KID BLUE, C'EST MOI, L'ANGELIQUE) alongside contract manufacturing.
Hoa Hiep Co., Ltd.
Hoa Hiep is a Vietnamese-owned lingerie manufacturer with over 20 years of experience. The company produces bras, panties, lingerie sets, and intimate accessories, offering both OEM and ODM services. What sets Hoa Hiep apart is its in-house R&D team, which includes designers with experience at major European lingerie brands. They focus on combining quality craftsmanship with competitive pricing, making them a potential fit for mid-market brands looking for a responsive, experienced partner. The company exports primarily to Europe and the United States.
Thygesen Textile Vietnam
A Danish-Vietnamese joint venture, Thygesen operates from Hanoi with a focus on high-quality knitwear, including lingerie, activewear, and underwear. We've worked with Thygesen on client projects (though not specifically for lingerie), and what stands out is the Scandinavian quality management layered on top of Vietnamese production efficiency. They are part of the Thygesen Textile Group, and their certifications reflect that emphasis: ISO 9001, GOTS, SA8000, WRAP, and OEKO-TEX. Thygesen is particularly strong for brands that prioritize sustainable and certified production. For more on their broader garment capabilities, see our list of the top clothing manufacturers in Vietnam.
How to Find and Vet Lingerie Manufacturers
Finding the manufacturers listed above is the easy part. Finding the right factory for your specific product, order size, and quality requirements takes more work. Here is what I tell clients who come to us looking for lingerie production.
Where to Search
Online B2B platforms like Alibaba and Global Sources list Vietnamese lingerie manufacturers, but many listings are from trading companies rather than the manufacturers themselves. Always verify with factory photos and business licenses. Industry directories like Foursource (apparel-specific) and Vietnam Yellow Pages can surface manufacturers that do not market on English-language platforms.
Trade shows like SaigonTex (Ho Chi Minh City) and HanoiTex let you meet manufacturers directly, see samples, and evaluate capability in person. I recommend these to anyone serious about finding the right partner.
Working with a sourcing company with on-the-ground presence in Vietnam is often the most efficient path for lingerie. The best-fit factories for custom development or smaller MOQs rarely appear in online searches. This is a big part of what we do at Cosmo Sourcing: match clients to the right manufacturer based on their specific product, saving months of research.
Lingerie is not generic garment manufacturing. I've seen clients assume any apparel factory can handle intimate apparel, and it almost always ends badly. When vetting a factory, focus on the following areas.
Equipment and Technical Capability
Does the factory have the specific machinery your product requires? Bra production needs molding machines, underwire insertion equipment, and multi-needle sewing stations. Seamless lingerie requires Santoni or similar circular knitting machines. Shapewear needs specialized elastic handling. I always ask for a factory capability sheet and photos of their production floor before going further.
Certifications
For lingerie specifically, look for OEKO-TEX Standard 100 (which confirms materials are free from harmful substances, critical for skin-contact products), plus broader compliance certifications like ISO 9001, BSCI, WRAP, or SA8000, depending on your market requirements.
Production Capacity and MOQs
In our experience, lingerie MOQs in Vietnam typically range from 500 to 3,000 pieces per style per color, depending on the product complexity and the factory. Brass generally has higher MOQs (1,000 to 3,000+) due to the tooling and setup required. Panties and simpler items can sometimes start at 500 pieces. Factories serving major brands often will not take orders below 5,000 units per style, so if you are a smaller brand, you need a factory that is set up for your order size.
Sample Quality
Always order pre-production samples before committing to a production run. Evaluate fit, construction quality, elastic tension, fabric hand feel, and finishing details. Lingerie has a very low tolerance for quality issues because the product comes into direct contact with the skin.
What to Expect: MOQs, Pricing, and Lead Times
Pricing for lingerie manufactured in Vietnam varies widely by product type. In our experience, simple panties might cost $1.50 to $4.00 per unit at production scale. At the same time, constructed bras with molded cups, underwire, and lace detailing can range from $4.00 to $12.00+ per unit depending on complexity, materials, and order volume. These are rough production cost ranges (FOB), not retail prices.
Lead times for lingerie typically run 60 to 120 days from order confirmation to shipment, depending on material availability and production complexity. If materials need to be imported (specialty lace from China or Korea, for example), add time for sourcing materials to the production lead time. Sampling usually takes 2 to 4 weeks.
Tariff rates vary by importing country. Vietnam benefits from preferential trade agreements with many markets, but rates change frequently. Always check the latest tariff schedules for your specific product and destination before finalizing cost calculations.
