Outdooor retailer

Cosmo was approached by an outdoor retailer who was looking to create an in-house private label to sell in the store and on Amazon, through FBA. They wanted to buy directly from China, instead of going through wholesalers like they have been doing. Cosmo was tasked with creating a list of potential suppliers for a wide range of products, such as Rafts, Kayaks, Stand Up Paddle Boards, and various accessories. Cosmo created a list of over 100 suppliers (an average of 8 potential suppliers per item). Once the list was approved we ordered samples then visited over 20 factories, in order to verify capabilities and legalities. Our client then placed orders from 8 of them for a wide range of product. The products were a success and they have reordered many times from the factories we found for them. 

Major USA Corporation 

A major US company was having major issues with their Brazil-based supplier who unexpectedly doubled their prices, leaving them scrambling to find new suppliers. They got in contact with us and we were tasked with locating both a new manufacturer and supplier of hardwood located in Southeast Asia. after months of research spanning Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, and Indonesia. We found a supplier in Indonesia for hardwoods and a manufacturer in Jakarta that had the appropriate equipment as well as a second factory in Vietnam as a backup. In addition, We handled the shipping and leasing of a specialized piece of machinery from Brazil to Indonesia. As a result, we were able to save our client a considerable amount of money and diversify their supply chain. 

Small Amazon FBA seller

A client, who was an avid golfer, wanted to turn his hobby in a business. After researching the golf market for niches he found a few potential products that he thought would sell well on Amazon. After trying to search for suppliers on his own, he decided to contact us to validate a few product ideas. Once we determined what products could be sourced and for how much, he moved on to one particular item that was both unique on Amazon and cheap to source. After samples were approved we made an initial purchase on his behalf and worked with a freight forwarder to prepare and ship it directly to Amazon’s warehouse. The product is a hit, netting over $10,000 a month and we continue to assist him with reorders.
